Volkswagen Polo 1 2 L TSI Arrives on April 29
Volkswagen has finally decided to take the covers of Polo 1.2 L TSI GT on April 29th. Volkswagen has already sent the cars to the dealers for Demo purpose and initial deliveries. we have already brought you the exclusive pictures of Polo 1.2 L GT TSI from kochi. Volkswagen is all set to take the Title of performance Hatch back in India with the Polo 1.2 L TSI GT. Volkswagen has already launched the Polo with a 1.6 L Petrol engine. But later they have to phase out the model because of Poor sales. Volkswagen Polo 1.2 L TSI GT is powered 1.2 L 4cylinder turbo charged direct inject petrol engine which makes 105 @ 5250 RPM and torque of 175 Nm @3750 RPM. This engine is mated to a 7 speed DSG Gearbox (Dual Clutch Transmission). So the performance wont affect the mileage of Polo.
Styling wise Polo 1.2 L TSI GT is similar to the regular polo. Except the body kit which include rear spoiler and front,side and rear skirts. GT badge of front grill, TSI and GT badge of the boot and on the C Pillar are difference. On the inside Volkswagen has given Dual color black and grey. Brushed metal pedals and illuminated door sills with GT TSI badge on it. We are expecting pricing to be on the higher side because of the DSG gearbox and TSI engine. Volkswagen Dealers indicated On road price of RS 9.00 Lakhs for the Polo 1.2 L TSI GT.
